The Lord tells us to hide the word in our heart and then goes on to instruct us that we should guard our hearts diligently.
This Lord knows that what is in our heart determines how we live; if we live with the word being our daily nutrition, our minds, actions and conversations will reflect it.
The light of Christ in us must be reflected. We must be mirrors in the world, projecting the light of Christ into a non-luminous world. Light must not just be taken into our lives but reflected. For the light of Christ to shine through us, the veil of sin and unrighteousness must be removed.

Somebody well-being is dependent on your obedience!
Part 1 of 4: "Break Out" series
The tragedy is not that believers lack power; it is that they live as they do.
Help is on the way because your pain is not invisible to God.
It is possible, and very common, for our pain to be unnoticed by others; family, friends, church members, strangers etc. However, we can find rest and true comfort in the fact that God has a deep awareness of our pain. He sees, understands and is working on our behalf.
Our willingness to serve should come from the fact that God has rescued us from sin. In like manner, this loyalty to God should affect the way in which we tend to things concerning Him; those things that are of concern to Him is of concern to us, His will is our will. Our response to God’s divine rescue should be true service.
GOD GETS OUR ATTENTION THROUGH SUDDEN INTERRUPTION - This is God's way of exercising His sovereignty. Sudden interruption, as seen in the Bible, is the moment when God asserts His lordship over time, space and human agenda. It's a divine refusal to an individual drifting away and outside of His purpose.
“Let God” even amid uncertainty. Trust is not proven when things are clear, but when they are confusing. God’s presence does not remove hardship; it sustains hardship
Lives are always shaped by what we love the most. The greatest threat to Christian obedience is not opposition but indifference. The motivation that we should rely on is the love that we have for Christ. It reminds us that we do not live for ourselves but for others. The love that saves us the love that sends us.
